For this reason, we at Restore Health and Wellness Center are dedicated to supporting you through every step of your recovery program and beyond. Our goal is to help you heal in physically, mentally and spiritually so you can live a happier and healthier addiction-free life.
While staying focused on your treatment is important, we understand the need to bring some items that will help with your transition from normal, everyday life to one of complete immersion in your recovery journey. There are a few things you should bring with you to treatment to help you feel comfortable.
The following is a list of what you will need to bring with you to treatment at Restore Health and Wellness Center:
Personal identification cards such as driver’s license, social security card, and insurance card
Co-payments for prescription medications (if applicable) – cash, credit, or debit card
Current prescribed medications (no samples). They must be in the original pharmacy bottle with visible prescription information.
7 days of casual clothing including a sweater or light jacket in case it gets cold in the evenings
Several pairs of undergarments including socks
Pajamas, bathrobe, slippers
Flip-flops, walking shoes or tennis shoes
About 30 days’ worth of personal hygiene items such as toothpaste, toothbrush, dental floss, shampoo and conditioner, shaving cream, razor, deodorant, bath soap
Hair styling products (pump hair spray only), comb/brush
Lotion
Makeup products
Swim suit, sunscreen, beach towel
Alarm clock
Nicotine products
Reading materials like books, journals, comic books, and magazines
Photos of family, loved ones, and friends
This list of prohibited items is in place to ensure your safety during your stay and to create the best atmosphere to encourage your recovery. The following items are almost always banned:
Narcotics or prohibited prescription drugs
Weapons (guns, knives, scissors, or any sharp objects, etc.)
Pornography
Food and drinks
Electronic cigarettes
Revealing clothing (sleeveless shirts, tank tops, midriff bearing tops, etc.)
Clothing with profanity or references to drugs, alcohol or violence
Toiletries and beauty products that contain alcohol (mouthwash, perfume, etc.)
Nail polish, polish remover or synthetic nail related products
Unapproved or previously opened over-the-counter medications
Video games and DVDs
Sporting equipment
Aerosols
Cleaning supplies (bleach, ammonia, etc.)
Electronics (televisions, gaming consoles, etc.)
Games and playing cards
Candles and incense
Most of the items on this list are prohibited to help you avoid distractions and allow you to fully focus on your treatment while at Restore.
Outside food and drinks are not allowed in order to help us maintain an environment conducive to health and wellness. You will receive three meals a day, with snacks and beverages provided to you. Should you have any special dietary needs, please let us know and we will plan accordingly.
